Festa litúrgica de São Jorge Real Comissão de Portugal

A Real Comissão de Portugal mandou celebrar Missa no dia de São Jorge, na Basílica de Nossa Senhora dos Mártires, em Lisboa, a que presidiu o Reverendíssimo Cónego Armando Duarte, Capelão de Jure Sanguinis, auxiliando pelo Reverendo Diácono Armando Dilão, Cavaleiro de Mérito.
Foi o primeiro acto público do mandato de S.A.R. o Infante Dom Miguel de Bragança, Duque de Viseu, Bailio Grã-Cruz de Justiça, recentemente nomeado Presidente da Real Comissão de Portugal pelo nosso Grão-Mestre, S.A.R. o Infante Don Carlos, Duque de Calábria.

Após a celebração da Santa Missa, no salão nobre da Basílica, S. A.R. dirigiu umas palavras aos cavaleiros e damas presentes e aos convidados, sendo servido de seguida um porto de honra.

Em representação da Real Comissão de Espanha e do seu presidente, Duque de Hornachuelos, estiveram presentes Don Fernando de Vargas-Zuñiga y Mendoza, Cavaleiro de Justiça, delegado na Extremadura, e Don Victor Manuel Caro Gil, Cavaleiro de Mérito com placa de prata, secretário da mesma delegação.

Assistiram representações da Ordem Soberana e Militar de Malta (Conde de Albuquerque, Embaixador Manuel Corte-Real e João Pedro Campos Henriques, respectivamente presidente, vice-presidente e secretário da Assembleia dos Cavaleiros Portugueses), da Ordem de Cavalaria do Santo Sepulcro de Jerusalém (D. Nuno de Bragança van Uden e Coronel Bartolomeu da Costa Cabral, chanceler e cerimoniário-leigo adjunto da Lugar Tenência de Portugal), da Real Ordem de Nossa Senhora da Conceição de Vila Viçosa (João Goulart de Bettencourt, membro do Conselho, e Marcello de Moraes, antigo vice-chanceler) e da Real Hermandad de Infanzones de Illescas (D. Marcus de Noronha da Costa e António de Mattos e Silva, presidente e chanceler do Braço Português).





Liturgical feast of St. George Royal Commission for Portugal

The Royal Commission for Portugal celebrates the Holy Mass at St. George's day at Basilica of Our Lady of Martyrs in Lisbon, presided by the Reverend Canon Armando Duarte, Chaplain of Jure Sanguinis, assisted by the Reverend Deacon Armando Dilão, Knight of Merit.

It was the first public act of the tenure of the HRH the Infante Dom Miguel de Bragança, Duke of Viseu, Bailiff Grand Cross of Justice, recently appointed as President of the Royal Commission of Portugal by our Grand-Master, HRH the Infante Don Carlos de Borbón, Duke of Calabria.

After the celebration of Holy Mass in the auditorium of the Basilica, HRH addressed a few words to the knights, dames and guests, and then as been served a Port Wine.

On behalf of the Royal Commission of Spain and its president, Duke of Hornachuelos, attended Don Fernando Vargas-Zuñiga y Mendoza, Knight of Justice, delegate in Extremadura, and Don Victor Manuel Caro Gil, Knight of Merit with silver star, secretary of the same delegation.
