RELATIONS WITH THE HOLY SEE

Please refer to the history of the Order for the record of Papal Bulls and Briefs granting privileges to the Order prior to 1922. In the 20th century Pope Saint Pius X and Pope Benedict XV both granted privileges to the Order, while Pius XII was himself a member of the Order.
