H.E. COUNT D. CARLO CASTELBARCO, PRINCE OF MONTIGNANO, GRAND CROSS OF JUSTICE, DIED ON 6 DECEMBER 2005

The death has been announced of his Excellency Count D. Carlo Castelbarco Albani Visconti Simonetta, Prince of Montignano, Count of the Holy Roman Empire, Marquess of Cislago, Count of Castelbarco, and Gallarate, Baron of the Quattro Vicariati, Lord of Gresta and of Quinzano, Consignore of Somma, Crenna and Agnadello, Noble of Urbino, Grand Cross of Justice and Member of the Deputation of the Constantinian Order, knight of Honour and Devotion of the SMOM, etc (1926-2005).

He was married in 1950 to D. Laura dei Marchesi Gropallo della Sforzesca, Dame of Justice of the Constantinian Order and Dame of Honour and Devotion of the SMOM.

He left two sons, Count Carlo Castelbarco Albani Visconti Simonetta Gropallo della Sforzesca, who succeeds him as Prince of Montignano, and a son, Count Marcello Castelbarco Albani Visconti Simonetta Gropallo della Sforzesca, both of them married with children.
