AIMS OF THE CONSTANTINIAN ORDER

The Sacred Military Constantinian Order of Saint George is an Order of Chivalry which, from its earliest origins, has supported the glorification of the Cross, the propaganda of the Faith and the defense of the Holy Roman Church, its special legacy through service in the Orient fighting the infidel and the many proofs of the recognition and regard of the Supreme Pontiffs.

It is not only required that the Knights should lead the lives of perfect Christians but that they must participate in every manifestation which contributes to the development of the principles of religion among people and co-operate with all who revive the practice of Christianity.

The Order, to strengthen its secular institutions, must be willing to adapt to the exigencies of the times which, while evolving, have transformed the structure of modern society, and must dedicate itself to the two greatest and most important socials works, hospital assistance and charity.
